With over 25 years in sales, leadership, and coaching, I’ve seen what works — and what doesn’t. I help ambitious sales professionals and leaders cut through the noise, sharpen their focus, and perform at their best when it matters most. My work blends neuroscience, psychology, and high-performance coaching to create lasting behavioural change — not just short-term motivation.


I’m Jason Cooper — Sales Relationship Coach, High-Performance Trainer, and host of The Global Sales Leader Podcast. I’m also an ultra-marathon runner and athletics coach, which probably tells you a lot about how I think: disciplined, curious, and always pushing the limits of what’s possible.


Whether I’m working with global corporations or dynamic SMEs, my goal remains the same —
to help people and teams achieve what they didn’t think they could, through clarity, confidence, and connection.

My Approach

I bring a human-centric approach to sales coaching — grounded in emotional intelligence, behavioural science, and brain-based learning. Whether I’m working one-to-one or leading a room full of ambitious sales leaders, my style is dynamic, interactive, and deeply practical.

I don’t believe in off-the-shelf training. Every person and team is different.
I listen, I challenge, and I help you find
clarity through honest conversation, storytelling, and evidence-based sales psychology.

Drawing from years of experience in consultative selling, leadership psychology, NLP, and neuro-sales, I translate complex science into simple, actionable insights that shift behaviour and drive measurable performance.

What Drives Me

I started running ultra-marathons in my late forties — not for the medals, but to explore my own capacity for focus and resilience. That same curiosity and discipline define my work as a coach.

Coaching athletics gives me the same fulfilment as developing sales professionals — it’s about seeing people stretch, strive, and succeed beyond what they believed possible.

  • What happens during our first free consultation/call?

     The first call lasts for up to an hour and allows us to get to know each other. It will enable us to explain our capabilities and processes and how we can help you achieve the required changes in life or business. Pricing is usually discussed and agreed at, or after, this first free consultation/call. There is no commitment on your part at this point. As a potential client, you have nothing to lose by committing to the first call but much to gain, even if you never return after the first hour.

    I’ve over 25 years of sales and marketing experience working in Ireland, UK and across Europe/US within the corporate space and high-tech start-ups. There is nothing like working in all departments within an organisation; you get a rounded experience of how each area works together. 

     

     As a certified coach, I work with senior executives, start-ups and leadership teams to ensure significant improvement in results. I have coached and mentored board members, and train sales/customer services teams to build better long-term relationships to affect the bottom financial line.

  • How does Jason differ from other coaches, mentors, consultants or advisors?

     Unlike many coaches, mentors, consultants and advisors, I have been there through successful and tough personal times I’m an avid learner through books, seminars, online learning, networking I strive to improve myself by the knowledge which impacts others.

     I’ve co-founded two startups and got an investment of over one million euro from the co-founders of Just Eat.  In other startups Ive have been through many accelerators startup programs which sent me to Silicon Valley to pitch to VCs and collaborate with high tech companies like Cisco, IBM, Bank of America, Adobe and many more. 


    I like to set personal and professional goals in work and other activities like trail running, cycling and triathlons. Always gives me a sense of achievement. Which and a sharper focus and drive to help others achieve their goals I have gone through with more in-depth knowledge and a strong awareness of resilience, purpose and high-performance mindset capabilities.     He works hard at being his best self by training hard physically, meditating regularly, curious about life/people/business and a hunger to learn:-


    • Jason has co-founded two start-ups, been involved with a multitude of start-ups and worked internationally. 


    • Jason has been mentored by Owen Fitzpatrick on his changing mind program and various others to self-improve on all levels. 


    • Jason regulates his sleep, maintains a healthy exercise and diet regime, and practices an attitude of honesty and gratitude.


    • Jason plans each day to apportion his time between a) his work as a coach & mentor, consultant and advisor, trainer and facilitator, speaker and media host b) mind-based activities including wide reading and writing (Jason writes, articles, courses, blogs and social media), c) his activities as a business investor, landlord and entrepreneur, and d) his time as a husband and father to a son and daughter.
